Sarah was born and bred in Perth, and for her that will always be home - family - heart. After finishing high school, Sarah travelled extensively, relying on her hospo background to be able to work all over the world.
On her return to Perth, she settled into studying Psychology, eventually graduating with a B.A. (Psych, Hons), Dip. Ed (School Psychology).
After working as a School Psychologist specialising in children with disability in the education system, Sarah stepped away from the work force to have her two children Georgia and Zara.
Without question, motherhood is the greatest accomplishment of Sarah’s life - AND the hardest. As a single parent for most of a decade, Sarah understands the unique circumstances mothers face in managing the multiple competing priorities facing today’s parents.
Sarah re-entered the workforce as the CEO of Alongside, a NFP supporting families of defence and emergency service personnel before returning to her hospo roots in 2018 as the owner of Our Ruby Girl cafe. Ruby Girl is well known across Perth for its employment programs, with a 50% employment rate of people with disability, coffee vans, gelato carts and catering services. Over the years the cafe has been in operation, it has provided employment and work experience to over 100 people with disability. Before its sale in 2025, Sarah led a team of 18 people that has created a truly unique experience in Perth.
Sarah sees clients in private practice all over Australia, with special interests in women across the lifespan during times of transition, ADHD, mental health in hospitality, parenting and working with couples.
Sarah is an accomplished public and key-note speaker, regularly speaking at conferences & lunch and learns.
